Angolan Embassy in Tokyo received the first batch of signatures with the open letter

Greetings!

Regarding the online petition addressed to the president of Angola to cancel the verdict against Rafael Marques de Morais who revealed the tortures and killings in diamond mining areas in Angola, the Embassy of Angola in Tokyo received the open letter addressed to the president along with the first batch of 436 signatures from 25 countries on 2nd March 2016.

The breakdown of 25 countries:
Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Cuba, Finland, France, Greece, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, Province of China, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam

Diamonds for Peace will deliver the second batch with another 200 signatures to the Embassy of Angola.

Rafael’s fight is not over and we can pressure the government of Angola by keep sending the petitions.
