Diamonds for Peace considers volunteers as an important part of the organization. DFP welcomes committed individuals over 20 years old with related professional experiences to maximize its social impact.

Volunteer Opportunities for English Speakers:

Orange: urgently needed

  • Translation: Translate documents and articles in Japanese into English.
  • Fundraising: Organize fundraising events/activities in your area
  • Advocacy: Advocate or raise awareness on various issues of diamond industry
  • Writing: Write articles on various issues of diamond industry to be published on DFP website (English, Japanese) and Facebook Fan Page.
  • Publicity: Publicize DFP’s activities in your country
  • Proofread (English): Proofread articles translated into English
  • Website: Help update DFP website
  • Graphic Designer: Create visuals to be used for DFP’s website, FB page, presentation, and brochures etc.
  • Advertisement: Manage Google Adwords, and FB advertisement.
  • Research: Conduct research on the issues of diamond industry.

Volunteer Registration Process

  1. Please fill out the initial volunteer contact form at the bottom of this page.
  2. You will receive the automated email with DFP’s policy. Read it and sign on the letter of consent if you agree. Please email DFP the scanned copy of the letter of consent with your signature.
  3. You and DFP will have an online call for about 30 minutes to discuss about your volunteer work. Upon completing the call, you are officially registered as DFP volunteer!
