Diamonds for Peace (DFP) will host a charity event celebrating its official registration as an NPO.
Enjoy the reports of DFP activities, African food, and live music by Ivorian and Japanese drum performers. All the profits of this event will be used for DFP future activities.

Introduction of Drum Performers
Oswald Kouame
Percussionist and composer from Cote d’Ivoire.
Oswald Kouame has performed in numerous concerts around the world as a percussion leader of Cote d’Ivoire National Orchestra and with various traditional African dance companies. He has performed and recorded with world famous musicians such as Stevie Wonder. Oswald improvises with sand, leaves, rice, water and the like; all inspired by nature.
Ichitaro
Traditional Japanese Wadaiko-drum performer and composer from Japan.
Ichitaro initially performed around the world in the Japanese traditional drum group “Ondekoza” including stages at Carnegie Hall, NY. Following his debut as a solo drummer in 2004, he has been performing in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa. Ichitaro enjoys composing, not only traditional Japanese drum music, but also modern music like jazz.
